
Kelly O’Donovan
Kelly has over a decade of experience in the audiovisual localization industry. A language teacher turned operations manager of an international subtitling agency, Kelly is the brains behind and the creator of the popular GOSUB platform for online courses. Kelly combined her experience and knowledge of the audiovisual localization industry with her skill set in teaching to create efficient and exciting courses in subtitling, closed captioning and SDH. Her passion and enthusiasm for subtitling and teaching drives forward the expansion of GOSUB.

Prof. Jorge Díaz-Cintas
Professor of Translation and founding director (2013-2016) of the Centre for Translation Studies (CenTraS) at University College London, Jorge has over 25 years of experience in the academic sector and is the author of numerous articles, special issues and books on audiovisual translation, including Subtitling: Concepts and Practices (with Aline Remael, 2021). He has trained translators-to-be across six continents, is a frequent speaker at international conferences and events, and has offered consultant services to numerous international bodies and companies.

Dr. Yota Georgakopoulou
With an early career in the academia and then at large media localization providers, Yota is a leading media localization expert and the owner of Athena Consultancy. She services high-profile organizations around the world, advising on strategy, business development, quality, tools, workflows, language technology implementation, as well as talent sourcing and management. She is a member of the European Commission’s Language Industry (LIND) Expert Group, the founder of the Greece Chapter of Women in Localization, on the steering committee of the Languages and the Media international conference, as well as a writer, speaker and influencer in the media localization space.
